March 20, 2020 - In its twilight but still very nice. Med+ body with plenty of funk to pair with the fading cherry fruit.
June 20, 2018 - even though I kept this bottle too long it still performed, with good fruit and a strong finish
November 18, 2011 - Vraiment excellent...a atteint son apogée...um goût qui rappelle même ls canne de Noël, selon Lyne. Il a valu la peine d'attendre toutes ces années.

February 1, 2011 - silky smooth, nice nose cherry and raisen, a step up from the 2006, great balance, great ist wine during an Italian dinner.
October 25, 2010 - Dark, slightly tannic, fruity and rusty at the same time. Very good now and can probably keep for some more time.
April 11, 2010 - VG chianti - drinking well; nice medium body - smoke & berry - very good QPR
April 3, 2010 - The wine looks light brown colored and the legs are slow.
The smell is raisin, black currant, plum, oak, black pepper, hint of sherry and coffee.
Taste dry and mouth-drying, raisin, black currant , stoniness, smoke, tannins and oak. The body is full and texture leathery.
The wine finishes long.
Best with medium minus beef etc that softens the strong aged taste. Open it couple of hours earlier - it will get softer and much better (I was too impatient...).
February 2, 2010 - might be the best chianti I've tasted, excellent. I am not a fan of chianti, although I enjoy a good brunello, this wine could change my mind. Had it with some good italian meats.
