Community Tasting Notes 1

July 10, 2008 - Garnet robe; nose of some finesse with notes of tea and leather; red fruit core borne along by a structure of evolved tannins and a persistent acidity that should keep this developing for another few years. Holding up well on the second day, with sweeter fruit and a whiff of rose-petal. Commendable effort in a lousy year - bravo.
