June 19, 2017 - Drank this quite a while ago. Thought it was thoroughly enjoyable.
October 19, 2016 - We've had this in our cellar for over 10 years. Nice, but should have drunk it earlier I think. Still very nice.
November 27, 2014 - Extremely smooth, full bodied and elegant. Went well with our thanksgiving feast!
November 24, 2011 - smooth and elegant
September 11, 2011 - Like most St. Supery reds, hot out of the bottle and still after a 6 hr. decant. Needed some time in the glass for the alcohol to blow off. Red fruit still strong on the palate. Tannins well integrated and had medium acidity, even with its age. Drinking well now, but holding-up and could handle another 1-2 years in the bottle.
April 27, 2011 - Very nice right now, but doesn't seem to have much left to improve, so drink up!
March 5, 2011 - Opened for one hour. Improved over the evening. Has lost most of it's fruit.
February 23, 2011 - Still wonderful, but should have drunk it a year or two sooner.
December 10, 2010 - Brown-tinged magenta. Raspberry, shoe leather, cedar, spices and a bit of mustiness on the nose. Medum bodied, smooth chocolate cherries, tobacco, tongue coating tannins, a little Dr. Pepper, and a dry medium finish. Impressed more as time opened increased.
October 30, 2010 - drank beautifully but on its way out.
