May 18, 2024 - Funny to think of a wine about nine years old seeming young. Still, this bottle drank well. Black fruit, some garrigue. Lively and energetic, not at all overbearing. Not as big as expected, but also not complex at this point.
April 1, 2024 - Medium red color. Great nose - garrigue, raspberry, iron and mesquite. On palate, full body yet great palate texture - medium acidity, integrated tannins and a very long finish. Beautiful red fruit on the palate - raspberry, strawberry with some nice earthy side notes. Beautiful wine. 94+
March 30, 2024 - Double decanted for 2 hours, deep ruby, red fruit with spice, med/firm tannins, long finish; delicious & just starting to drink, drink or hold

December 23, 2023 - Decanted for 3-4h. Lovely nose of cedar and spices, a touch of tobacco. On the palate, sweet red fruit from the granache, balanced by more cedar, spices, pepper, tannins, and acidity in the long, peppery finish. Great with grilled rack of lamb and mint sauce.
November 25, 2023 - Brought a Magnum of this to a large group party of German style cold cuts, cheese and breads. I only had one glass, but it was a huge hit with the entire group (12 of us). No formal notes. A lot of the comments were around how full bodied and big this wine tasted.
November 24, 2023 - Incredibly well integrated with firm but round tannins, dark fruit and tea leaf with a touch of warm spice. Flexes with strength yet gentleness.
November 24, 2023 - VEry nice cdp. Decanted 3.5 hrs and had with thanksgiving dinner. Smooth with some spice, plum flavors.
September 11, 2023 - It needs air. But over 2-3 hours. The smell gets better and it taste great. This bottle was corvin 5 years ago. N it got better with age.
