    December 28, 2021 - Pale ruby.
Medium intensity on the nose. Aromas of red cherry, toast, red roses, subtle incense and cedar notes. It’s developing.
On the palate, the wine is very juicy and red fruits oriented. The acidity is high with fine grained tannins. The balance is great and really delicious to drink now. The flavour intensity is medium and the finish is medium as well. Good wine and enjoyable!

February 18, 2020 - May 2018. Compared blind to a few other young Barbarescos. Once with mushroom-y pasta, once with grilled lamb. Liked it the least. Fruit on the nose, some menthol/licorice? Tart palace, structured, quick and short-lived. 89.

June 7, 2019 - Enjoyed the single sip that I had before my wife and her friend polished it off. Need to purchase again to try it for real.

January 21, 2017 - A light rubyred colour. On the nose, red fruit and rose hip. The taste is well balanced, almost burgundian, with red cherries and sttrawberry. Great acidity.

November 18, 2016 - Clear, pale intensity, ruby color.

Youthful nose with medium(+) intensity. Not much depth or complexity to speak of but it surely shows some classic Nebbiolo markers; bright cherry, mashed strawberry, menthol, forest floor and rose petal.

Medium bodied with medium(+) acidity and medium(+) tannins. Very light and almost anemic on the palate. Medium(-) intensity of flavors. A quite simple Nebbiolo that doesn't leave any remaining impression. There is loads of Langhe Nebbiolo's at €20 that gives you a whole lotta bang for the buck compared to this.
