February 25, 2019 - Such a steady performer; I don't think I've ever been disappointed by a Simi Cab. Cherry and red currant aromas show whiffs of mocha and earthy conifer. Firm, bright, linear, very dry, a hint medicinal, and a food wine, through and through. I like it.

July 8, 2018 - Drank over three days. Deep purple color in the glass. Light tannins and dark cherry on the palate. Very nice at the price point. Great burger wine.

May 20, 2018 - Very nice drinkable wine, with good balance. Lacks the depth and structure to be considered excellent.

February 11, 2018 - Clear, just ripened red berries, cassis on the nose up front. More complex tones evolve, anis and peppery notes. Medium bodied with clear feeling of oak (new). Soft but present tannins, just a hint of bitter that lingers. Very well made wine, great with a steak dinner, will handle the salty crispy crust of a charred rib eye.

January 19, 2018 - Meh. If can find under $15, perhaps a buy for a slow night. Otherwise, pass.
