December 17, 2023 - I am neutral on this wine as for me it does not deliver to its price point. There is minerality behind the subtle vanilla oakiness and rose petal palate. This is medium plus bodied and has enough acidity to give this some elegance. Presents with a slightly disjointed bitter finish. Drinking now.

December 12, 2023 - In finding this a little disjointed - this has fruit power and oak power but it’s just yet coming together. Sort of not as good a great Cali chards or Burgundy

October 3, 2023 - very ripe, very toasty on the nose. Still got enough acidity on the back end, and it was actually pretty high.

February 4, 2023 - I was expecting a little more having had the 2019 which was magnificent, but it was very balanced and perhaps was a poor pairing with the food (chicken in peanut sauce)

August 1, 2022 - Great but a bit too young. It’s 7 years old but seems more like 2-3. Acid is still a bit forward. Looooong life ahead. Try again in a year or two, should drink well up to 2030 and beyond.

April 9, 2022 - nice and toasty, flinty, really beautiful nose. A little ripe on the palate but the finish was a little flinty.

January 23, 2022 - Amazing nose, intensity and complexity of a high-end burgundy. An appealing creaminess but with some tropical fruit notes. Fewer saline notes than in typical burgundy and well-restrained oak.
On the palate, less creamy than I expected from the nose, more refinement and elegance driven by fresh acidity but lacks a bit in intensity. Long world-class finish. Great nose and finish but dips a bit in the middle. Never the less a very good chardonnay. Fairly priced.

December 5, 2021 - SLDS Decadence 2021: Lemon, smoke and toast. Rich flavors, intense fruit but has structure sitting behind, mostly oak derived, to temper the exuberance of the fruit. Very good.

August 12, 2021 - Hmm special. Blind I might guess Burgundy Grand Cru. Great balance of acidity and fruit. Lots of well judged oak. Corn on the cob, peach.
Long, moderate complexity. Drink now and over the next 10 years.
