December 30, 2013 - Coravin-ed two samples, but that was a waste because it turned out to be badly corked. Was going to do side by side with 1995, which was still pretty nice though fading.1 person found this helpful Comment

November 10, 2013 - had w/ dinner party ... lamb and chicken. opened it 4 hours before dinner, cork was soaked so decanted 2x then let sit. drank very well. velvet like with nice balance. it was thinner than i remembered but guests drank all of it (always a good sign)

January 12, 2013 - David White comes to town (Domaine Wine Storage and Sun-Wah BBQ, Chicago IL): Nose: Nice and balanced nose with tones of cedar, mint, dark red cherries, and cassis tones. There is solid depth on the nose with a polished quality to the tones.
Taste: Very well balanced medium body with smooth tannins and medium acidity. The tones of cedar, tobacco, mint, cassis, and dark red cherries blend well together.
Overall: This was showing very well. A quality mature Cali Cab that is drinking at it's best right now.
December 5, 2012 - Preparing to take this to a party, my wife dropped it and broke it -- 80% of it ended up splattered on the countertop. I did manage to drink up the remaining 20%, which was quite good, but it wasn't how I wanted to enjoy the wine.
