April 2, 2024 - "There's a lot of fish at Montrose Harbor" (Chicago, IL): I quite liked this too -- it didn't have the expressive, effusive nose of the Mayacamas, but it had much more depth and potency on the palate. More leathery, with a darker complexion, but with tannins that are clearly resolved as well. Fancy that, a bottle of Dunn that is actually ready to drink.

December 28, 2023 - Absolutely unbelievable wine. A Dunn that is actually ready to drink. Pasilla, black trumpet, black currant, forrest floor. Memorable wine.

November 21, 2023 - Surprisingly preserved! This birth year wine commemorating son Drew's
birthday was certainly past peak but was still fruitful and approachable. A bit cloudy in color but still red with no hint of orange. Black and blue fruits were front and center with limited earthy or savory notes. Still plenty of body but no residual tannins.

April 17, 2022 - Bought 6 bottles on release; this was my last. Rabbit with wine/mushroom sauce for Easter dinner. Spot on! Dense, rich; dark fruits and bacon/smoked meats. Lingering. Couldn't have asked for a better last bottle!

February 13, 2022 - From Magnum. Soft cork but wax capsule fully in tact. Translucent ruby color. Bricking. Consumed with a Coravin. Plenty of red fruits up front with some blackberries in the background. Cedar and sweet Oak. Very smooth. If left in the glass more than an hour, the fruit fades - a bit of a disappointment in this format.
