January 23, 2016 - At ease with its spicy green pepper, burning diesel, and soft warm iron; some wet dog; present with a drop and bump; bitter at the bottom and wispy on top.

December 5, 2015 - Dark red; very nice rich nose of red berries, love the nose; smooth but also slightly flat taste, fine tannins; very agreeable and enjoyable, clean and pure

October 13, 2015 - Wow, super powerful nose of bacon fat, roasted meat, mushrooms, cèpes de Bordeaux, cigar box, leather... Taste super silky tannins, lactic, zero hard edges, perfect balance, super Pomerol!!

August 14, 2015 - Wow - this is very high ranking on my Pomerol list - amazing wine.
Bottle in pristine condition, ditto for label and level + great vintage.
Immediately upon uncorking and taking that first sniff, I know this one would fly very high.
Clearly that buttery nose that is to typical for Pomerol, beautiful deep red colour in the glass.
Taste and flavour - I'm having problems finding any faults there - nearly flawless for me.
Personally, this 2000 vintage is spot on, and I'm rating it very high.
Very much to enjoy now ( give it 2 Hrs in decanter ), or keep stored for another 5-10 years.
Sadly my one and only bottle, that was the saddest part of the evening ;-)

June 14, 2015 - Leather, raspberry, black truffles, black tea and sweet cherries. Highly elegant, long finish and wonderful balance. Still a bit tannic but a top Pomerol for the decade.
