July 16, 2022 - Beautiful and powerful! Powerful black fruits, with dark earth and mushroom.

Very nice balance and great length. Drank out of the bottle in gradual pours into Zalto BDX. I have been loving the 90s Jadot :)

January 10, 2022 - Beautiful black cherry, meat and spice aromas. Palate is well balanced with earthy, meaty fruit and well-integrated structure. So impressive for a 1995, but not quite as compelling as a seriously great bottle from the same cellar a few months ago.

January 10, 2022 - Burgundy Dinner with Friends (RPM Seafood - Chicago IL): Lots here, all classically meaty and Gevrey. Powerful black fruit with earth hints and still firm. Not quite harmonious to start, more balance emerged with more time in glass. From the same case as a sensational bottle opened a few months ago, but not quite as great.

December 31, 2021 - this is a winner after all these years, charms still a touch hidden, but beautiful black fruit and earth, medium length and touch of the acids on the back end, there wine is till tight. only hints of orange rim, the wine is darkish almost black and through a good sediment. it had not declined the next day so i think this still has time

November 18, 2021 - Jadot CSJ and Whites: 95/96 side by side. Surprisingly amazing and very close to WOTN. Seductive and lithe with so much complexity. At peak, with none of the toughness I associate with ‘95.

(Louis Jadot Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Clos St. Jacques Domaine Louis Jadot) Light medium red color; reticent, vaguely savory nose; tight, very tart red fruit with high acidity and good grip but still needs time; medium finish 90+ pts.
