March 18, 2015 - Last bottle of this…….really a beauty! One of the best 03's I've had……fruit is still quite rich and loamy…warm chocolate brownie, liqueur berry, not too sweet or pruney…….firm dusty graphite tannins, smoked cedar, white pepper spice, licorice, some dried greens. Has that freshness from the sour skin acidity…..even more integrated now…no heat like the last bottle. Taste that To Kalon sunshine here…….SO tasty! Now I'm really bummed this is my last…..and I still want to try another vintage of this, but haven't.

March 9, 2014 - From a magnum. Very surprised by the quality, and especially the style of this wine. The nose is proto-typical Napa, showing the dry dusty austerity of Mediterranean olive groves. More quality Napa wines would smell like this if not so heavily masked by oak or made in so jammy a style. The amazingly structured palate shows great purity of Cabernet Sauvignon, accentuated by elegant Oakville terroir. Very long and thoroughly gripping. Superb oak treatment. Drinking beautifully, lively and vibrant. It likely has five to ten years of life ahead of it. Excellent!

April 29, 2013 - This as certainly come together. Balanced and so good with a grilled tenderloin. Needs a little open time, but delivers red fruit, cedar, coffee, and hints of bell pepper.

June 24, 2012 - Liked this just as mucch as I did when i opened my first bottle six years ago. Really great effort. Drinks very well today.
