May 22, 2023 - Terrible yesterday with delicious Lasagne, pure tannic show and brown tinge, undrinkable🤯

January 19, 2023 - Taken from the winefridge, popped and poured slightly cooled, nose is elegant, but muted, taste is delicious for a Barolo, has tannic finish, but roses too. Will come back later.

September 30, 2022 - Decanted 3 hours. Dark ruby with orange hue, long slow legs, on 👃 balanced red fruit and earthy notes ripe raspberries , prune, nectarine , walnuts, wet forest floor, vanilla. Very dry, medium structure , soft frontal tannins with throat burning, juicy raspberry finish. Great to drink now.

January 29, 2021 - Rispetto alla 2012 bevuta nel lontano maggio 2018, è tutto un altro vino; in peggio purtroppo.
Chiuso, riottoso. Tannini solo in parte risolti. Gradevole in ogni caso ma molto meglio il terzo giorno dall'apertura. Non so se ha bisogno di almeno altri 10 anni, o è già arrivato al suo massimo. Mi astengo dalla valutazione.

January 26, 2021 - It has changed since last time, started with a sip 1 hour after the cork was removed, extremely acid tannic attack, then 1 hour in the big Zalto decanter. it soften up, but still a baby a thin one!

February 14, 2020 - I was hoping for more but this is a hit or miss. Half of our party liked it and half didn't. Earthy, well developed and full bodied. I think price is a little high for what you get. I hold my other 2 bottles a little longer to see if it gets better.

September 14, 2019 - Decanted for 30 min, a very dark colour, nose of dark berries and fruits, taste big power of serralunga, tannic finish, worked with food , but a youngster.

March 9, 2018 - Vindredi (Barolo & Barbaresco) (Bellevue, WA): Tasted blind. A little menthol, spice, and tar on the nose. Light and pretty body with dried flowers, potpourri and a soft, pretty palate. Light-to-medium acid with fine tannins on the lengthy finish. Beautiful.

February 3, 2018 - 2018 Festa del Barolo AM seminar

Darker fruited nebbiolo, with tar, ferrous meaty notes and sense of salinity, with background dark and deep perfume. Rich and powerful Serralunga wine, impressive and deep, with a lot going on, but comes across a little too polished for my preference. 92
