December 30, 2017 - Certainly shows its age in its color, which is dark gold. Plenty of small bubbles, that persisted. Has the smell of and older sparkling wine. Aromas of yeast, green apple, pear, caramel and nuts. On the palate, shows similar with green apple , baked pear, baked bread and nuts. Great balance . Medium length finish. A really interesting sparkling wine in a good place. Not sure it will improve with more time, but not over the hill.

August 18, 2012 - Little past its peak. Still very tasty, but light with a short finish. Tiny bubbles disappeared pretty quickly. Apple & pear pie flavors. Darker color.
