  August 24, 2020 - Tasted blind. Nice and quite elegant nose of dark fruit and tart cherries. Nice acidity with round mouthfeel and lots of fruit on the palate. Good finish. Along the 2011, this was my favorite of the Mazzonis.

  May 22, 2017 - While I have had mixed experiences with older Ridge zins, even with a dried out cork that broke in half mid pull, this one was terrific with sausage and pepper pizza. If served blind I might well have guessed amarone. Rich, pruny, chocolatey. A little bit gritty. My wife and I only finished half of it with dinner, and brought the rest of it over to the couch for "House of Cards". Normally I would have recorked before turning in, but this was gone before the end of a single episode.

  February 5, 2016 - Love these aged ATP selections. Cinnamon, red cherries, and mushroom/underbrush in the glass. Red/black zin berries with a long finish. Perhaps a grind of black pepper and even some black olive. Harmonious. Great quality for the price. Perfect with roasted chicken legs with soy and orange glaze. Drink now.
