December 21, 2014 - Exceeded expectations, fruit still vibrant. Leather, wood, cigar box lingering finish

June 18, 2014 - Expected it to be towards the end of its drinking window, but it was still very deep and intense. Medium acid, medium (-) tannins, so could still go for a bit more. Dark fruits - lots of blackberrry, tinge of dark cherry, tinge of blueberry - dominate, with notes of black pepper. Finish had a slight intense, bitter note, which may mellow with a few more years. Saved half a bottle to be consumed 2 days later.

March 19, 2014 - This wine is really good and holding up extremely well. We just had it with a roasted chicken and it was perfect.

February 15, 2014 - - Brick color and aromas of blackberry, black currant, fig and coffee. It's balanced and has flavours of blackberry and black currant with a medium/full body. Round texture - Popped and decanted. Really came alive after 30 minutes. Served with truffled risotto.
