February 11, 2021 - Dark ruby color. Nose is bright and fresh, with floral and violet notes, ripe berry fruits, crunchy minerals, Hints of pepper and spice. Palate is taught but showing some ripe cherry fruit and blue fruits. Hints of tart peels, pomegranate. Well made with good agebiiity.
July 2, 2019 - Dark, brooding, and spicy.
April 12, 2018 - Great potential, but at this stage new oak is too dominant

Assez gourmand lui aussi, plein, épicé, rond et complexe. Superbe! 92-93 pts
July 21, 2017 - Visite au Domaine Ponsot: Cette cuvée pourrait porter le même nom que le blanc, i.e. Monts Luisants. La parcelle est située juste au-dessus du Clos de la Roche.
Un nez parfumé de fruit rouge et noir entremêlés, avec un petit côté réglissé. Superbe qualité de tanins, c'est mûr, très dense. Très beau, dans un style mûr. 92+
