June 5, 2022 - Meaty, bloody, wild animal nose, maybe a little horse leather. Crystallized cherry, earth, slate, mature tannin. Still has plenty of structure and muscularity. Beautiful fruit. At apogee, terrific.
July 30, 2021 - Dark and concentrated berry notes with aromatics of leather and earth. Rich black cherry, with tobacco layers, some characteristic Priorat menerality and a long finish with good tannic structure.
February 14, 2021 - This one was flawed ... too bad as it was the last of a handful that I purchased. Given the age I opened the previous one just a few weeks ago and it was singing.
October 12, 2020 - Second of two bottles, ten or eleven years after the first. Took over three hours on pnp to open up over the course of glasses. But comfortably worth the wait. Honestly at first I thought it was over the hill but it awoke.
The personality of pink neon on a black night. Then a camp fire; sienna. Again against something vast as the stars. Flavors: like the ideal thick, medium-rare+ grilled new york strip. So juicy. Meaty. Radiating corona of a finish.
November 16, 2019 - Dark and musty, leather and smooth. Going to miss these when they are gone
September 21, 2019 - Very enjoyable mature red wine , very slight secondary , had some claret things going on as well , well done.
September 13, 2019 - Perhaps a little too much Bret
September 1, 2019 - Dusty and dry at opening, this opened up with decanting and an hour’s rest. Medium bodied with smooth tannins. Drinking well.
June 2, 2019 - Always great and never disappoints
May 19, 2019 - Really good by itself but did not pair well with spicy Italian sausage, pumpkin puree & stuffed shells
