    April 11, 2013 - Very good...dark creamy smoky flavors...structure.

July 24, 2012 - From Magnum. This one is certainly firing on all cylinders at the moment. Will last 5 years or more but it is on fire right now.

November 9, 2009 - Consistent with prior notes.

March 22, 2009 - Darker styled CCR. Earth and acid. Nice, but not particularly memorable for the vintage.

February 20, 2009 - Some maturity evident on the rim. Lovely rich ruby red colour in the core. Decanted for an hour the nose was still fairly closed at first but opened out in the glass to reveal classy cherry, licorice and coffee aromas. Quite harsh tannins noticeable on the palate but then good fruit came through. Not sure whether this will get better - certainly enough acidity there - drinks really wel with longer in the decanter. Not quite the class of the Fontodi but still a really enjoyable Chianti.
