March 24, 2024 - I feel like this has finally gotten to a good place. Nothing exciting but a solid Bordeaux from the 2000 vintage. Good value wine

November 12, 2021 - Notes very consistent with the other bottle, this has held up very well and is drinking very well but time to drink up any remaining holdings. This 2nd bottle got more air and it showed - this will stand up well to a short 30-45 minute decant.

October 2, 2021 - aged red color with brick at the rim, on the nose cassis and peppery plums, noticeable oak, soft cherry and herb notes, on the palate an attractive fruit core of cherries and black plums but this seems to be drying out and passing prime, first encounter with this wine- so I do not have any broader sense of its usual life span- but it is my sense this was a good mid-weight Pomerol that is now on the decline.

    **, drink soon

August 21, 2021 - Mature and well integrated Pomerol Bdx, drinking very well, tannins all gone so time to drink up any remaining holdings. Probably just a bit past prime.

April 4, 2021 - Mature Pomerol with pomegranate, cedar and earthy notes, light tannin. Enjoyed this bottle over 2 days.
