March 22, 2024 - In great shape, drinking much younger than it should. Still with some fruit but nice tertiary notes as well. This went great with the Wagyu course at Schwa tonight. Could easily go another 10+ years

November 25, 2022 - Slightly oxidized and the acidity rampages over the red cherry fruit. Not much depth or complexity unfortunately.

February 11, 2018 - Oh wow. I don't know if it's got another 40 years but I did think, tasting blind, that it was a grand cru or abnormally good, early 90's Burg. Truth be told I'm not a huge fan of Corton but this Corton-Bressande was showing beautifully, with quite stunning definition and precise, fine tannins. Very pure, high-toned fruit. I did Corovin the last glass or so but didn't get around to tasting today.

    December 22, 2017 - Dark ruby.
This started out as a tannic, austere, muscular behemoth. Initially dark, damp earth, black pomegranate fruit and a very elegant truffled note that persisted with time.
After an hour a very complex perfume of dark cherry, strawberry, raspberry, kirsch, a hint of animale and a rocky mineralite somewhat akin to being present during a quarry blast.
Subsequently cola, Asian spice and Christmas confection, sweet and long. High acidity and tannin, at almost 30 years young this has the stuffing to easily go another 30 at least. Fantastic stuff!

May 4, 2009 - Complex strawberry fruit and a bit of mushroom on the nose. Maybe the tannins not quite balanced at the end, somewhat drying. A little over matched by the company but super wine.
