March 25, 2006 - This (last) bottle was all about red fruit that was almost soda-pop in quality. Lacking the other elements of a recent bottle, it was a jarring accompaniment to Marcella Hazan' sliced seasoned steak.

January 4, 2006 - 375 ml. This was really quite delicious with sweet cassis fruit, well-integrated oak that wasn't at all intrusive, enough structure to stand up to rack of lamb in mustard-based glaze.
