October 13, 2023 - Wines you should have bought by cases (San Shu Gong): Pnp. Blinded. Fresh, linear, white flowers, amazing freshness with long finish. Drinking very nicely.
August 24, 2023 - 12th of 24 and first from new case, decanted 30 minutes, perfect cork and level, youthful robe, lemon and lemon curd prominent to balance weight of material, still some of the oiliness of youth, attractive minerality, particularly fine persistence, complexity and drive, still upside (amazing for nearly 20 year old white Burg), 10+ years. VF (18.5)........I've always been impressed by how well these BdM wines age and improve over many years (cf 1989 and 1990) so long as pox is avoided!!!

June 16, 2023 - Fantastic white burgundy. Lemon curd, baked honey. Needed 3+ hours of decanting. Balanced, long, powerful but elegant
June 2, 2023 - Sushi Dinner at Hatsu (Hatsu): Coming after the 2004 Perrieres, it had similar oxidative notes but had much livelier acid with great lift at the finish. Seem to be past its prime which is surprising, 2 years ago a similar bottle was still very primary.
January 28, 2023 - WJL Birthday @ Noreetuh: A splendid wine. Brute force reduction - perhaps sulfur. Aromatically intoxicating. Beautiful purity of fruit. Round. Not a subtle wine.
January 28, 2023 - @ noreetuh NYC. Intense smoke on the nose, incredible concentration, rounded and complete finish with 30+ finish. Perfect bottle. A powerhouse.

Lots of power, intense citrus , lemon, grapefruit and lime, finely integrated oak spice , long resonating finish. Extremely impressive . Years ahead.
