December 30, 2023 - Beautiful light golden colour! Nose of roasted nuts, ripe, peachy fruits, and a hint of chalky minerals! And maybe I'm a bit sensitive, I can smell a slight hint of petrol fuel! On the palate, rather sweet, white stone fruits dominated the palate with a hint of nuttiness, simple and straightforward, silky smooth! I have a sense that this still has room to improve, with a blossoming future.

December 16, 2022 - I think this is still on the young side in this superior Sauternes vintage. Nice acidity, good balance, and amazing tropical fruit even for a second wine. Singing. Enjoyed over two days with friends. Excellent value for aged Sauternes. Would buy again.

May 17, 2021 - Stored in my cellar for 15 years +. And what a surprise. I know that 2002 is a great year, but that a second wine could deliver this quality is just stupendous. Bright golden yellow without any hints of browning. Intriguing nose dominated first by candied lemon and orange, then on to the classic note of "rancia" (pickled orange zest combined with a slight note of oxidation giving a nutty tone). Medium to full bodied, full sweetness beautifully balanced by a fine acidity lifting the aftertaste to a very long finish where tones of lime, orange peel, nuts and honey intertwine. I wonder how the first wine from this year tastes. It must be a miracle. Drink now or keep for about eternity.

April 28, 2019 - Nobody's ever gonna confuse this with D'Quem, but it was pretty tasty. Honey, honey, and more honey. Very viscous and rich, but with plenty of acidity on the back end. Terrific pairing with foie gras.
