December 16, 2014 - When just open. It was developing nose with flower and red fruilts. But color was not so clean. Wine was dry with a medium acidity and tannins.
After half hour, the aroma was become very weak and the mount feel was no charge. We were very disappoint.
After one hour, the aroma was no change. Still very weak but it developed a good balance between flavour concentration, tannins and alcohol. It tastes like blackberry and coffee.
Very soft, very elegant, very beautiful wine. The experience is memorable.

October 26, 2014 - This wine is superb. It has great balance with a velvet feel on the palet. I have two more left and will try to wait another year to have them

October 24, 2014 - Claret color with a bouquet of eucalyptus and a bit of cassis, but with flavor totally dominated by somewhat rough tobacco, and only hinting of fruit, with some variation between the several bottles tasted, partly affected by decanting time. This wine is a very prototypical Bordeaux, and I may be losing my taste for this so recognizable flavor profile. The wine needed more nuance, balance, and depth to be exceptional.

September 23, 2014 - Almost 30 years of Bordeaux: Dark red. In the nose, this is dense, very fresh, there's pencil shavings, cassis, cherry, herbal notes, it's really, really fresh and cool. Plummy undertones give it some volume, but quite generally this is Sean Connery circa 1964 style. It seems a bit strict, also a bit old-fashioned, but with style. On the palate, this is linear, tight, very "male", leathery, nicely minerally with fine acidity, rather robust tannin and a tart finish. I loved this, it has a pure balance and finesse in a rather strict and restrained style.

June 21, 2014 - A shadow of what must have been its former self. Fruit faded and lifeless. Tannins still dry and edgy. Past its prime. Not rated.
