February 1, 2016 - Ripe and remarkably advanced. Soft and succulent, but with decided oxidative character: ripe apple, creme brûlée, lots of caramel, sweetish apricot pie; graham cracker . . . but lacking acidity. Medium finish. Suspect inferior storage before my purchase. Disappointing. Lacks edge, nerve and vibrancy.
February 19, 2010 - A firm favourite for when an off-dry riesling is the best partner - thai foods especially. Sweet without being cloy.
April 30, 2008 - Quality riesling with nice acidity, notes of apple and pear, a bit on the sweet side for my taste, however, with less complexity than I would like.
August 29, 2007 - Light green/gold with a slight bit of sparkle, lemongrass, white flowers, lemon zest with hints of petroleum on the nose, great weight with a perfect "sweetness to acidity" ratio, not a ton of complexity, short finish with hints of oats
August 25, 2007 - hints of grapefruit on the nose, lemon on the palate... just a tad cloying... with a fresh crispness... nice wine...
January 23, 2007 - La Strada hector and gang--great balance, sweet but not cloying, loads of pear and citrus
