March 31, 2024 - PnP. Light greenish gold. Citrus, lemon/lime, sea air on the nose. Really lovely spherical presentation on the palate; elegant but intense. This is really classic. I miss a bit of the exotic character this has in some vintages but that may develop with time. Drinking well but not rush.

January 25, 2024 - Killer GC Chablis, intense green apple, jolly rancher, asian pear, chalk, intense on the palate and long juicy persistent finish. Excellent. DD Blind 1982-2005 Bordeaux 1st Growth dinner at BOA steakhouse starter wines.

November 12, 2023 - I love Chablis. I am not sure it's a bargain any more but the wines are just so elegant. And this one is no exception.

Visual: color is a pale lemon, not very intense
Nose: moderate aromaticity, primary fruit of citrus, lemongrass, honeysuckle; no discernable secondary flavors
Palate: dry, high acid, no tannin, med-high alcohol, matches nose, emphasis on a melon note

    Overall: very good to outstanding
    Balance - outstanding
    Flavor complexity - very good
    Finish - really long
    Flavor intensity - strong

This is a really excellent wine and I am glad I have a lot of it

April 11, 2023 - Still on the young side. Nice to see a 2016 wine perform well. Elegant, soft acidity, a hint of tropical fruit, mineral. I still see some upside here

February 25, 2023 - I love Fevre Chablis & this delivers. Love the hints of spice & wood on the nose. Well balanced fruit, mix of saline semi tropical fruit. The limestone soil shines through with sea shell, saline, steely profile. This Chablis shines.

October 10, 2022 - Almost 2 years since my last bottle. A good but not great Chablis. White fruit, chalk and some green notes. Round but not overly rich but still lacking minerality. A reflection of the 2016 vintage I think. Can for sure keep many years but I doubt this will improve.

    -translucent light gold
-citrus mineral mild reduction brown spice
-med+ acidity, med- weight a gentle pineapple not sits atop tangy bitter grapefruit mineral running across the entire palate through to the finish where it dominates
-the ripeness comes through with a tropical note yet freshness acidity and minerality are maintained, this needs more time to gain some complexity and settle down a bit

August 8, 2022 - This is good, but still needs some positive development for me as its a bit ripe and lacking some freshness. The nose initially starts a bit tropical, but then transitions to more citrus and orchard with some sea breeze. Not quite the classic minerality that I want but close. I left this for a day and came back it was really about the same. Not much development and didn't really liven up like I was hoping. The depth/concentration are solid, but I would like just a little more minerality and drive.
