August 30, 2017 - Spicy stewed plums. V good.
November 22, 2015 - Fruit forward but not very complex or long finishing. Drink with unappreciative friends!
October 14, 2015 - Toll! Das ist der Süden! Kräftig, voller Körper, dunkle Frucht und die Kräuter des Südens. Dunkles Rot mit viel schwarz in der Farbe. Aber halt nicht marmeladig, nichts ist zu viel, an keiner Stelle! Jetzt auf den Punkt gereift!!! Sehr lecker!!
September 9, 2015 - Did not last until the second evening, but the first evening was wonderful. If you have any of this vintage it should probably be opened soon. Drink now!

May 24, 2012 - Medium weight on the palate with dusty raisin flavors. Good balance and length with pleasant finish.
August 1, 2010 - This wine is an absolute monster, and kept changing throughout the night. At times, got some interesting earthy notes along with super-dark plum, but it seemed a lot of the fruit was still hiding. I decanted about two hours, and I would seriously consider holding any bottles.
May 17, 2010 - This was drinking beautifully... Fresh and intense, with mature fruit and layers of complexity on the nose. Mouth was very silky and with longer than average length. Too bad this was my last 2004.
May 9, 2010 - Wow this is something. Think it would have benefited from a long decant, but even with out it this is a very nice "big" wine.. inky black, dark fruits prunes/plums, excellent balance beginning to end, with black teas at finish. This could have easily rested for another 5-10 year’s
May 2, 2010 - Had this bottle with a pasta dish with fresh grilled vegatables oil and garlic. a perfect compliment . very smoth
