April 20, 2013 - Drank this after a 09 Spottswoode and I wasn't sure if it was going to hold up to it but it did quite well. Didn't taste like a 9 year old wine! Lot of dark red fruits but this must have been stored in a well kept cellar! Tasted very similar to the regular Honig Cabernet bottling to me. Found this quite enjoyable, especially for the price!

July 20, 2011 - Wasn't expecting much from other notes here, but the was surprisingly good. Vibrant plum, blackberry and rasberry, with a touch of vanilla and nice Ritherford-velvet texture. slight smoke and roasted meat on the finish. Very nice...
May 22, 2011 - gift from a colleague - this was stored in his office (on its side thankfully) which is not conditioned on the weekends. This may have been atypical. This was a nice balanced wine. Black currants, dried blackberry, prunes & cinnamon on nose & palate. Medium body with medium+ finish. Very balanced and complemented the food - alchohol was not noticeable to me and went great with grilled beef tenderloin. Nice Napa Cabernet with some age. Would buy again. 90+.
