May 14, 2016 - Opened and let breathe in the bottle for 2 hours. Enjoyable but clearly beginning to show early signs of oxidation. I have one more nad will drink it sooner vs. later.

January 3, 2016 - We drank the '05 followed by the '08. The 2005 was singing -- white and yellow orchard fruit, layered and complex and a bit feminine. By contrast, the 2008 was drinking big -- similar fruit profile but concentrated and brimming with tannin and extract with a honeysuckle note as well. I think I preferred the '08 this evening based on its full-throttled power. The 2004 was opened first but was premoxed.

    July 1, 2015 - horribly pre-moxed.... very unfortunate.

June 17, 2015 - Yellow orchard fruit, gooseberry, honeysuckle, citron, iodine, some wood, mineral. This is big and youthful and simply awesome juice. Very Puligny. Tremendous balance between fruit and acid. This should get better with age, although it'll be hard to keep my hands off remaining bottles. This came off as very primary compared to the 2004 recently consumed. First of five bottles.

May 16, 2015 - Expressive nose with lemon, honeysuckle, green apple, white flowers, and slight saline/oyster shell. On palate refined, crisp, clean citrus flavors with some mid palate fat that leads to a long, clean finish. Drinking well.
