Community Tasting Notes 1

June 12, 2012 - Opened for 1.30 hours. Swift decanted. Dark burgundy core with purple pink rim. Nose closed, menthol and some mint, faint medley of mixed red fruit. Nothing characteristic for such a type of wine, and remained closed for 1.30 hours. Slightly unexpected and disappointing. Very full mouthfeel, rich, strong. Brambles, faint vanilla. It seems too young still, with some potential, ev 2-3 yrs? Loses corpulence after an hour in the glass.
