November 24, 2018 - Not flawed or defective, just past it’s time. The one that got away. Perfect cork, moderate sediment, great color, just past prime.... that is all.

If you have a large format bottle you’ve probably got a great chance still.

November 14, 2015 - Still drinking well if you like the melancholy mouth feel of aged Cabernet. Big fruits, bold, thick in texture. Absolute Velvet !!! Aroma of black cherry on the nose.

February 4, 2013 - I enjoyed this quite a bit. Dark red fruit aroma. Balanced cabernet. Surprisingly excellent.

    4 on the AF scale.

April 6, 2011 - RP has the description nailed, but I think it deserves a couple more points. Thoroughly enjoyable.

January 3, 2011 - Good solid Napa Cab with excellent QPR. Nicely evolved and starting to show a little bricking. Flavors were still highpitched (blackberry, leather, tar like)with underlying barrel (oak & spice)flavors along with a nice integrated line of tannin. I agree that it may be time to drink this one over the next couple yrs. Higher score for QPR. Wish other Napa Producers would take note.

January 2, 2011 - I really enjoyed this wine after giving it 2 hours to breathe. I am glad I drank it now versus storing another year or two. Those of you still storing this year may want to open em up. Very smooth and then gives a nice tight finish.

December 24, 2009 - Popped and poured and drank over two nights. This came over as quite Bourdeaux like upon initial opening. Nose featured dark fruit with a little earth and a distinct 'sweaty sock' component which was less pronounced on day 2. Still has nice black fruit concentration with medium body and a smooth mouthfeel. Very nice medium to long finish with persistent fruit flavor and nicely integrated tannins. Held up very well and drank more like a Cabernet on day 2. Very good and still has plenty of stuffing.

October 26, 2009 - Solid performer and would expect potential for another 3+ years in the cellar would be no sweat. dark fruit remains; some lack of fruit integration with oak; not the best 2001 in my cellar although Ill try another bottle next year.
