Community Tasting Notes 2

October 17, 2007 - This wine is weird. There is a very strange banana element that turns sickeningly sweet (even though this is a dry wine) and some weird bitterness on the finish. Not tasty.

January 7, 2007 - Classic kiwi sauvy nose--grass, pineapple and lemon rind. Flavors follow the nose but are a little muted. The acidity does not have quite the zing, but the tart finish is quite long and pleasant. Very nice wine.

Capped and refrigerated 3 days--re-tasted and it was excellent. A little added tartness, but very rich. No loss of fruit. Moved initial rating of 88 to 91.
