April 29, 2024 - Dark fruit, damp earth and a silky texture. Has lost some freshness, but gained some complexity. This bottle was mature and ready.
March 29, 2024 - Lovely Gevrey spiciness, still too young to fully appreciate, took 4 hours to open and then still felt there was more to come from this one, stemmy quality with lovely lifted cherry mixed with sous bois and mushroom.
Tannins still a bit rough, will leave the other ones untouched until at least 2028.
March 9, 2024 - Third time tasting this vintage. Getting better and better. It has the sexy Gevrey red cherry fruit forward signature but also has a lovely bouquet nose of damp earth and minerals combined with a lingering salinity on the finish. Slightly stemy too.
March 20, 2023 - rustic, red fruits and cherry. Earty and forest, leather and mushrooms. nice acidity and some grip from tannins. well made
January 22, 2023 - very expressive, with cherries and nice fruit. Medium body, but has big mouth feel and a delicious finish. Drinking well now, particularly with a half hour in the glass. Very nice wine.
December 30, 2022 - excellent deep scent of slaughter!. A very nice gevry Chamb, scent of forest and abbotoair. a wonderful gevry with plenty of notes of forest ground, and youth.
December 22, 2022 - Brief note. Slightly dark colour. Very Gevrey and not to massive. Very gravelly / earthy base, some nice cherry and dark berry aromas. Some floral lift too. Good for it’s level with further upside. Recommended, if you are looking for an affordable Gevrey that has a solid profile. Drink now with slo-ox (half a day) or wait four years.

June 30, 2022 - Dark ruby color and a fragrant bouquet. Red and dark fruit, rich and muscular but a little dry, some mineral and spicy notes and a firm, slightly harsh finish. Still a few years from maturity, with good potential.
November 5, 2021 - Very similar to my tasting note from October 2020 if not slightly better. This suggests 1-2 more years will benefit this wine. Still drinking great now.
