May 14, 2017 - Complex nose, petrol, slightly waxy, nice acidity. I liked this one quite a bit.

May 6, 2017 - not the best vintage,, but this was the first bottle that really was terrific. not completely electrifying but close...

April 16, 2017 - Deep yellow. Fragrant orange. A little duller and heavier than the last few times I've had this. This bottle seems somewhat advanced.

March 27, 2017 - Fruit - Apricot, Apple, Peach, petrol on the nose. On the palate - citrus, mineral, bone dry, great acidity. Long finish - not the best Riesling I have drank but great quality none the less from a top quality producer from Alsace.

(Trimbach Riesling Cuvée Frédéric Emile) Sourced from grands crus Geisberg and Osterberg, says Jean Trimbach, the vines having an average age of 50 years, with the oldest up to 70. A bright and fresh nose here, limes and minerals in abundance, with a well-balanced and elegant substance. A grainy depth, supple and with plenty of appeal for the future. Excellent potential here.
