April 6, 2013 - Very distinct coffee and chocolate and dark red fruit. Good balance and mouth feel, soft and balanced. What a WA merlot should be.

January 7, 2010 - 2nd night brought more distinct aromas of coffee and chocolate

January 6, 2010 - Funk, prune and hint of chocolate on the nose. Hard time getting this wine to open up. Good mouthfeel and black fruit on the palate with medium finish. Not that exciting

December 19, 2009 - Very pleasant surprise. Deep color. Cherry, vanilla, coffee, nice long finish. Classic Wa. merlot.

May 16, 2008 - Showing a bit more vanilla on the nose than when I last had this wine. Also, there are scents of cherry and slight pencil lead. Good structure for a new-world Merlot, which carries the dark red fruit flavors out to a pleasant finish. Certainly better than your average CA merlot.
