March 3, 2023 - Truly outstanding. Everything a Chard should be. Took to dinner at a restaurant, so no detailed tasting notes to provide.

February 11, 2023 - Great viscous mouthfeel, tropical fruit (a little more fruit forward than I would prefer but I quibble), notes of lemon curd and other complex notes. Full bodied chard, creamy, a wee bit of oak. Just delicious. Acidity quite reduced by its 7-year aging, but wasn't missed.

January 29, 2023 - Still drinking very well -- classic, well-made RR chard. Excellent.

January 14, 2023 - Had a bottle of this with friends at a local restaurant. We all raved how delicious it was. Fruit and some oak and some creaminess - really well-balanced.

August 8, 2022 - As Is predictable with Arista, these are exceptionally well constructed and delightfully smooth in an elegant way. Flavors of mango, stone, lemon. Delightful

May 20, 2022 - Oaky. Fine wine, just not my style, especially for the price.

September 27, 2020 - Another excellent Chardonnay from Arista...wonderfully complex with notes of straw, citrus and apricot with a touch of butter and lemon curd on the finish. Nicely balanced and excellent acidity on the palate. As good as this Chardonnay drinks, it’s not quite as good as the Arista 2014 vintage.

April 6, 2020 - Light straw color. A light nose of pineapple. When this hits the lips - wow. Melon, pineapple, peach, mild citrus. But what really draws me to this wine is its drinkability factor. It is beautifully bright, lively, crisp. Great acidity. Medium finish. Not extracted, not oak heavy. Just a pure joy to drink. With a few more bottles cellared, it will be interesting to see how this develops over the coming years.

October 22, 2019 - Lots of bright fruit with plenty of citrus fruits, apricots, and honey, along with floral, spice, and a hint of nuttiness. Full bodied wine with nice acidity and a long finish.
