March 20, 2015 - PnP, thinner/light bodied, some bricking. Glyceric. Bitter notes on a thinning profile, the fruit is fading on the finish at 10 years out. Charry, jammy nose of cranberry, pomegranate, slightly vegetal. Some very high/late notes of cherries. A bit lean on the structure, though the acidity keeps it somewhat lively. Fading quickly, drink up and drink in one setting. Meh, a bit stale and tart on day two under vac-u-vin, showing a combination of sour and stewed plum.

December 6, 2012 - PnP, pours a light to medium ruby. Medium weight, with a nose of iron, brick dust, musk, plum, strawberry. Good sweet fruit, now showing a little maturity, with plummy caramelized flecks amidst the tart cherry and red fruits and oak. Nice balance and structure, fine tannins on the long finish. On day two this is disjointed, acidic raspberry tart and lacking structure. Some residual barrel influences, but much better on day one.

March 9, 2010 - 14.1% alcohol. Popped and poured, and this wine just kept gaining steam as time went by. Gorgeous cherry color. A triumph of a wine, really underscoring the best that 2005 has to offer generally and from Siduri in particular. Lovely bouquet of red and black cherry, a touch of baking spice, distinct damp earth, and minerals. In the mouth, racy and vibrant, with a strong core of predominantly red cherry fruit. The earthiness and baking spice are excellent complements, and the wine generally is built on an elegant structure, with tremendous balance and grace. Bright acidity that emphasis the mineral notes and a long, juicy finish. This is outstanding. A-/A

November 2, 2009 - A nice blend of cherry and strawberry on the nose, adding a little earth and depth on the palate. The acidity was a little better in balance than when I had this 15 months ago, and I think another 6 months to a year will continue to help. This was popped and poured, and I think a little air would have helped.

February 20, 2009 - Very nice pinot. Slightly muted nose, but some good spice and red fruits with just a little bit of heat. Would buy again.
