Producer tasting notes: "Focused on tertiary aromas like mushrooms and undergrowth, the nose is complex with notes of dry grass and straw, as well as aromas of milk and vanilla yogurt. The fruit is always present, especially the little acidulous red fruit like gooseberry. Temperatures were very close to normal throughout the growing season. Summer was dry, especially in June and August. This dry growing season was conducive to water stress very beneficial to ripening. Yields were average (32 hectolitres per hectare).

Kräftiges Rubin, noch immer Glanz. Die Nase ist offen, zeigt noch immer Frucht, Kirschen, Cassis, Rauch, Anflüge von Tee, Unterholz und Pilzen, später auch Malz, sehr gute Komplexität. Am Gaumen straffer Auftakt, wirkt deutlich reifer als die Nase verspricht, die Gerbstoffe sind weitgehend abgeschmolzen, die Säure gut eingebunden, dunkle Kirschen, etwas Holzkohle, etwas austrocknend aber mit sehr gute Länge. Ein kräftiger, gut strukturierter Wein der noch erstaunlich gute Reserven hat. Bis 2025. 18 vvPunkte, (91/100)
