February 5, 2022 - Gorgeous classic aged napa nose. Dried cherry & currant fruit enveloped by bramble, green tobacco, cedar, earl grey, espresso and cocoa powder. Quite a mouthful still, with good flavors and mouthfeel across the palate. Quite delicious and shows the staying power of napa but the finish is drying up, especially compared to last bottle. This one is definitely on the downswing. Still great though. Hopefully just bottle variation but I’ll probably be drinking my last asap.
