November 25, 2022 - Plummy, with cranberry juice and light baking spice. Somewhat light-bodied with mild tannins. Refined.

February 13, 2022 - Opened up with some herb and red fruit; tannins feel integrated, smooth and enjoyable but not exceptional

December 29, 2021 - This bottle really didn't show much. Maybe a little after the 4th hour but it didn't strike me as a wine ready to burst out of its shell. Nothing off here. Just didn't blow me away.

August 22, 2021 - Lighter on its feet than the 2015, and more depth and secondary flavors. This is a very well made Brdx blend from Wash state. Well worth the coin.

April 30, 2021 - First Betz, surprised how mineral forward the wine is. Not at all what I was expecting. Loads of bright, dark fruits tight mineral core, with a crunchy finish. Full body, med + fruit acid,, med tannin. I would say that this is one for the long haul and it needs a load of time. Drink 2030+

November 20, 2020 - Drank one bottle on shipment’s arrival today; quick comment is that the west coasty style is evident but with a WA delicacy that In my limited experience doesn’t exist in CA.

July 31, 2020 - Inky purple core with crimson hues. Fairly typical bouquet for quality WA Bordeaux tribute wines. Pretty fruit, excessive oak. The wine's substance makes an impression, along with its overall balance. The 13.5 abv was especially appreciated. While far too lumber laden to be a preference, it is well made. It needs a few years to show its best.

March 10, 2019 - At release. They double decanted that morning.

A bold and big taste profile. The 15% Petit Verdot really shows itself here.
I preferred the Pere, even though it had even more PV. Somehow it worked better for me with the Cab. I love Merlot, and the Merlot seemed overwhelmed by the PV in this wine.
Still a very nice wine and most will love it. Certainly well made and will cellar well. Be interesting to see how it evolves.
