July 8, 2023 - Opened this at a small gathering in our backyard.
This went super with my wife's fantastic, perfectly prepared and seasoned Atlantic Salmon. New world Pinot done the right way. Yes, it's rich and ripe and full-bodied. Not a lot of complexity here, just pure, hedonistic and pleasurable Pinot. Not too sweet, not too oaky. Perhaps could've used a touch more acidity, but was pretty well balanced. Everyone loved this.
July 2, 2023 - Delicious dark ripe cherry fruit and spice on the nose and palate with silky texture and a long finish.
January 13, 2023 - Very nice, but just a tad past it’s prime, in terms of the flavors being a little less robust than expected.
November 7, 2022 - Another great effort by KB. A bold PN, as noted by at least one taster, with concentrated dark fruit, tart black cherry, black raspberry, a bit of spice with soft tannins. Paired well with grilled trout.
February 26, 2022 - Big bold and wonderful.
November 8, 2021 - Great fruit & acidity. Paired well with boeuf bourguignon.
May 7, 2021 - Not sure what other CellarTracker members are tasting but this is a world class Pinot Noir that is fruit forward with rich cherry, strawberry fruit and a hint of spice on the finish. Full mouth feel along with a long finish makes this a terrific wine.
April 18, 2021 - Flavors and aroma were light. I have had much better pinots.
April 10, 2021 - No formal notes. PNP but better with time in glass so suggest 1-2 hour decant.
March 14, 2021 - Disappointing, tight dark strawberry fruit, very restrained, excellent structure, short finish
