Community Tasting Notes 1

February 12, 2020 - And after valuing a homemade wine cellar, a single bottle shared with friends. Decanted for three hours and still very closed both in the mouth and nose. Another expensive bottle of exclusive production, with the best scores and a price in line with such a marketing operation, although this time from up to fifteen different plots. The concentration raised to the nth power. A balsamic wine with notes of licorice, coffee, black pepper, wild black berries or Chinese ink.
Without a doubt there is elegance and a good level of complexity that is what really interests Benjamin Romeo but the international style with too much power and a lot of energy, the absence of sense of the terroir (we're talking no less than San Vicente) and the abuse of French oak to try to soften the final result will never make it one of my reference Rioja wines. I'm sorry.
