April 13, 2024 - Solid champagne. Brioche, lemon curd, pear and green apple. Round and ripe style. Thought it was better and fresher right after opening than with air, so I’d drink it up within the first hour or two.
March 30, 2024 - disgorged 3/'22. Huge success. Nougat mixed with conference pear and lemon. Energetic. Edged. Emphatic chalk. Brulée green grapes. Poppyseed.

February 15, 2024 - Deg 02/21. Köpt på plats 2021. Doftar friskt, färsk jäst och fruktigt. Smaken av mogna gula äpplen först, sen brioche, sälta och citrus. Lång balanserad finish. En favorit!
January 24, 2024 - A blend of 80% Pinot Noir and 20% Chardonnay. Disgorged in February 2023. Medium yellow gold. Apple, lemon, dough, biscuit, chalk, and smoke, with high, fresh acidity, and very good length. Pleasant Aspirin-like bitterness on the finish. The mousse is medium-fine and still a little aggressive. Good concentration. Very young, but very promising. Needs another year at least. 90(+)
December 24, 2023 - Disgorged 7/22. In our opinion, not ready. Very acidic, heavy citrus taste. Worked a bit better with air and closer to room temp.
I'd wait longer.
December 10, 2023 - From 375. Oct. 2021 disgorgement. Really nice bottle, fresh with good balance and breadth on the palate. Probably at the top of what I normally drink in terms of dosage, but carries it well. I checked, and found it's 7 g/l, and that's about what it feels like, but again, well balanced. A great wine to have in halves for an easy apertif.
December 7, 2023 - 2022-07 disgorgement. Solid bubbly, a bit sweeter than expected, nice brioche notes and bubbles. Also alternated between open aromas and kid of closed down.
December 7, 2023 - This version of Paul Bara's nonvintage Brut Reserve (Lot #135282, disgorged February 2022) is a straw-colored blend of 80% Pinot Noir and 20% Chardonnay. Sporting an active small bead and creamy mousse, it offers aromas of lime zest, Anjou pears, toasted almonds, brioche, cardamom and wet stones. Medium-bodied, crisply acidic and dense on the mid-palate, it delivers flavors that align with the aromas and finishes with good length. Bottles from this particular lot should show well over the next 3-4 years. Drink now-2027.
