April 18, 2022 - Rich, full, golden. Kosher worlds truest representation of a Chardonnay in the French style. Wonderful wine.

January 1, 2021 - Intense. Beautiful bright transparent gold yellow. Fil body. A mixture of flavors and tastes: oak, vanilla, earthy, leather. The fruits are much less dominant, mainly citrus, lime, apricot and apple. A very complex wine, maybe a little too complex for me.

April 6, 2020 - Pale gold color with mineral oaky buttery bouquet. Medium bodied. Intense and concentrated flavors. Pear, apple, minerals, slate, wet stone. Long mineral finish. This is a very nice wine and tastes like a white burgundy. Well it is good it is not as good as other years in my opinion. So very nice bottle of wine. Worth trying but other villages are better and worth collecting

September 23, 2019 - Creamy texture with golden apple and nectarine aromas framed by cedary oak and smoke notes. Long and persisting on the palate.

December 19, 2018 - Domaine du Castel, 'C' Blanc du Castel, Chardonnay, 2017: Aged for about 10 months in French oak barrels. Bright gold in color, with on the nose, fresh almonds, buttery popcorn, toasty oak, ripe pears and ripe lemon. Medium to full-bodied, with a slightly oily texture. On the palate, ripe pear, Meyer lemon, golden apple, white peach, dried apricot, saline notes, vanilla beans, sour cream, medium-plus acidity, with hints of roasted hazelnuts on the long finish. Classic Burgundy (Meursault) style Chardonnay, but the oak has yet to fully integrate. Approchable now, but best 2021-2027, maybe longer. 14% Abv. 91-92

July 8, 2018 - Domaine du Castel tasting (Ya'in Ba'Ir Rosh HaA'in): clear, light yellow
clean, profound aromas of oak-vanilla, buttered white tropical fruits with dry apricot, smoky & yiest hints
dry, high acidity, full body, structured, complexed, excellent balance & harmony, too much oak flavours, long finish
    requires further ageing
