March 16, 2024 - Unfortunately nothing (yet) unique about this wine. Could be any Cab blind. This could be anything. I reserve judgment for now. Cellared upon release. Balanced...but not special.

October 23, 2023 - I would put this 2001 up against any wine out there of the same age. This drinks brilliantly with so much fruit still present. A fantastic experience. Ready to go upon opening and did evolve over a few hours.

August 9, 2023 - Pristine bottle from library release a few years ago

Still very primary with considerable fruit although tannins are somewhat resolved

Surprisingly for Togni - drinks hot with alcohol levels likely 15%+ - no ABV listing on label

Flabby and not particularly broad nor refreshing with ripe red fruits, winter spices and some ash

Truth be told, despite its reputation, did not enjoy this vintage
