January 21, 2024 - pleasant enough although there is a slight astringency that throws it out of balance

July 7, 2023 - Medium lemon colour. Medium and developing nose with ripe yellow apples, ripe white peach, ripe lemon, butter, charred wood, smoke and wet stone. Medium taste of ripe yellow apples, ripe white peach, ripe lemon, popcorn, butter, charred wood, smoke and wet stone. Long and dry finish. High acidity. Medium body. A very good Bourgogne Blanc that has matured beautifully. Needed 15 min in the glass. Drink now. Goes well with cheeses, fish or shellfish.

February 17, 2023 - Nja, kändes lite mer endimensionell än sist. Mycket syra, lite fyllighet, men inte mycket mer. Kanske har peakat?

January 16, 2023 - A pale yellow colour; the palate is light but elegant with some minerality. Drinking well now. A decent entry level white Burgundy.

May 4, 2022 - Great way to start a tasting at the restaurant- and last tasting of the trip. In all, 8 wines tasted including the Champ. I have not had this producer previously but came away a buyer.

Wine came across a bit underwhelming (not looking at price) as there was less fruit than I was expecting from a Bourgogne with vineyards so well represented in southern Boune. More seashells & minerality, than I expected, good acid, grapefruit, tart lemon- but after looking at the price, not a bad offering simply not my

December 24, 2021 - Straw yellow in the glass, the nose shows hints of gunflnt, chalky oystershells, peach, , lemon, honey, quince, and a nutty , slightly sweet butterscotch quality. Creamy and mouthfilling, acidity is medium, with flavours of ripe acidic nutty apples, leading into a long, clean finish of saline minerality. This is a satisfying, balanced wine that represents solid quality and value for money. Drink up over the next year or two.
