June 29, 2023 - Aromatic old world cab with soft tannins and low alcohol content. Not my style but well done.
July 4, 2022 - This bottle was very wound up, even after an hour in the decanter. High toned with good acidity and grippy tannins. Showed some Red Hen terroir, but never really came out to play. I will hold my remaining bottles for a few years.
November 10, 2021 - one of the better Ashes & Diamonds wine that I've had, It might have needed the 5 years in the bottle, a fuller, bigger mouthfeel than some other of their reds.
July 23, 2021 - Very agreeable, restrained yet fruit remains. Arguably not quite as deft in balancing oak and fruit as some top Napa Cabs, but good solid value at this price point. Could drink it every day.
November 2, 2020 - Super delish. Definitely more of a restrained style but with a to. Of complexity. Loved it especially given the price point.
