May 26, 2021 - Medium bodied without much character.
Ok drinker with common Cab notes but not worth the effort. Better with food. Franciscan Cabs used to be a go to wine many years back (2001-2007 vintages), but have not found the same quality this past decade as I sample every few years.

June 4, 2020 - Needs more time in the bottle. Nice, but drinks very young. Some vanilla and deep blackberry fruit. A definite oak base. I was waiting and hoping for it to open up. Alas, it didn't. I realize it's a $20 bottle, so my expectations are calibrated. But I can't help but wonder what 4 years would do here.

April 12, 2020 - Just ok. Saved some for 2nd night to see if it got better. Nose improved but no tasting difference. Nh liquor store. 22.99 on sale for 18.99 and with power buy was 16.14. Better cabs out there for that price

March 29, 2020 - Letting this one sit for an hour made a real difference when though it is not complex. Beautiful garnet color, deep dark fruit with BlackBerry jam flavor that lingers. Bright crisp flavoron your tongue balanced minerality with nice finish. Great with steak

January 23, 2020 - It needs to breathe an hour or so. A nice CS for the money.

August 23, 2019 - Dark fruit and marzipan aromas. The palate is bright and lively, with a core of plummy, blackberry fruit and adequate balance and structure.

February 24, 2019 - Nothing extraordinary but for twenty bucks tasty and unlike many cheap Cali cans not drenched in oak.
