Community Tasting Notes 1

December 30, 2014 - Pinot Noir Night 3rd Installment (Extra Space): Appearance is slightly hazy (jostled around in car), medium intensity, garnet colour. Legs.
Nose is clean, with aromas of dusty powdery earth and red cherries. Developed.
On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium alcohol, grippy medium+ tannins, medium body. Medium flavour intensity, with flavours of earth, raspberry, red cherry. Medium+ finish. Fruit tasting a bit tired. Has the acidity and tannin to last longer, but I think the fruit will dry out before then. Could have been better a few years ago.
    Good quality. Drink up.
